চলছে বিয়ের মৌসুম। কেউ প্রহর গুণছেন প্রিয়জনকে বিয়ের অপেক্ষায় আবার কেউ হয়তো পরিবারের ইচ্ছায় নতুন কারও সঙ্গে গাটছড়া বাঁধছেন। লাভ ম্যারেজ হোক কিংবা অ্যারেঞ্জড ম্যারেজ- বেশীরভাগ মেয়েই বিয়ের ঠিক পরের মাসগুলোয় নানা অনিশ্চয়তায় ভোগেন, শ্বশুর বাড়ীতে নতুন মানুষজন কেমন হবে, কীভাবে সেখানে মানিয়ে নেবেন ইত্যাদি ব্যাপার থাকে। বিয়ের পর সম্পূর্ণ নতুন পরিবেশে নিজেকে মানিয়ে নিতে একটু সময় লাগেই। নতুন শ্বশুরবাড়ি আর নিজের ছোটছোট অভ্যাস, ইচ্ছে, পছন্দ, এই দুয়ের মধ্যে সেতু তৈরি করতে গিয়ে অনেকেই একটু সমস্যায় পড়ে যান। অনেকে আবার বিয়ের আগেই এসব চিন্তা করে দ্বিধায় পড়ে যান- বিয়েটা করবেন কিনা!

তবে একটু অ্যাডজাস্টমেন্ট আর বুদ্ধি করে চললেই কিন্তু খুব সহজেই খুব দ্রুত নতুন পরিবারের সবার মন জয় করতে পারবেন আর একই সাথে নিজের প্রত্যাশা, ভালো লাগা, পছন্দ-অপছন্দের বিষয়গুলোও ব্যালেন্স করে চলতে পারবেন। আজকে জেনে নিন বিয়ের পর নতুন সংসারে দ্রুত নিজেকে মানিয়ে নেয়ার সহজ কিছু টিপস

নতুন সংসারকে জানুন

নতুন পরিবারকে ভালোভাবে জানার চেষ্টা করুন। এক্ষেত্রে আপনার স্বামী হতে পারেন আপনার সবচেয়ে বড় সহযোগী। তার কাছ থেকে পরিবারের সকল সদস্য সম্পর্কে জানুন। আত্মীয়-স্বজনদের চিনুন, তাদের সাথে গিয়ে আলাপ করুন। অনেক সময় বাড়ির নতুন বউকে নিয়ে একটু আধটু মজা করা হয়, সেটাকে প্রথমেই নেগেটিভ-ভাবে নেবেন না। একটা বিয়ের পরে বাড়িতে একটা উৎসবের পরিবেশ থাকে, তখন এ ধরনের হাসি ঠাট্টা চলতেই থাকে। কোন বিষয়ে অস্বস্তিবোধ করলে সঙ্গে সঙ্গে প্রতিক্রিয়া দেখাবেন না।

সবসময় শ্বশুরবাড়ি এবং নিজের বাড়ির মধ্যে ব্যালেন্স করে চলুন। বিয়ের পরপর কিছুদিন একে অপরকে সময় দেওয়া খুব জরুরি। তা লাভ ম্যারেজ বা অ্যারেঞ্জ ম্যারেজ যাই হোক না কেন। নতুন সম্পর্কের ভিত দৃঢ় করতে এবং এতে ওপরকে আরও ভাল ভাবে চিনে নেওয়ার জন্য এই সময়টা খুব জরুরি। তাই বলে বিয়ের পর স্বামী যদি কোনও একটা উইকেন্ডে তাঁর বন্ধুদের সঙ্গে কাটাতে চায় তাতে বাধা দেবেন না। বিয়ে হয়ে গিয়েছে মানেই সব কিছু বদলে গেছে এমন নয়। কখনও কখনও টাইম বের করে আপনিও আপনার বন্ধু বান্ধবদের সঙ্গে ঘুরে আসুন।

স্বামীকে বুঝতে শিখুন

আপনার স্বামীর বেড়ে ওঠা, পরিবার, রুচিবোধ, ধ্যানধারণা, অভ্যাসগুলো আপনার থেকে আলাদা হওয়াটাই স্বাভাবিক। তাই তাঁকে তাঁর মতো করেই গ্রহণ করুন। একসঙ্গে থাকতে গেলে দাম্পত্য সম্পর্কে নানারকম সমস্যা আসতে পারে। নিজেদের মধ্যে কখনো সমস্যা হলে আলোচনার মাধ্যমে সমাধানে আসুন। নিজের মত চাপিয়ে দেওয়ার চেষ্টা করবেন না। সঙ্গীর দিকটাও বোঝার চেষ্টা করুন।

বিয়ের পর নতুন সংসারের দায়িত্ব নিন

সংসারের দায়িত্ব সবাই নিলে ফ্যামিলি বন্ডিং দৃঢ় হয়। যদি আপনি স্বামীর সঙ্গে আলাদা থাকেন তাহলে কে কী কাজ করবেন টা শুরুতেই ঠিক করে নিন। কিংবা একসঙ্গেও কোনও একটা কাজ করতে পারেন। একে অপরকে সাহায্য করুন। হালকা মিউজ়িক চালিয়ে গল্প করতে করতে কাজ করলে দেখবেন কাজটাকে এনজয় করছেন।

নিজেকে আকর্ষনীয় করে তুলুন

বিয়ের পর অনেকেই নিজের প্রতি উদাসীন হয়ে পড়েন। এতে আপনার সঙ্গী তার প্রত্যাশার বিপরীত চিত্র দেখে কষ্ট পেতে পারেন। পরস্পরই পরস্পরের জন্য নিজেকে আকর্ষণীয় করে তুলুন, বেছে নিন নতুন কোন হেয়ারস্টাইল বা যেতে পারেন জিমেও। দেখবেন সময়, বয়েস আর ভালোবাসা সবই অদ্ভুত সতেজতায় থেমে আছে আপনাদের চার দেয়ালের ছোট্ট সংসারের ফুলদানীটায়।

নিজেদের মধ্যে রোম্যান্স বজায় রাখুন

রোজ একসাথে থাকা কাছের মানুষ একসময় অনেকটা চেনা হয়ে যায়। এটাকে বোরডম ভাববেন না। বরং দেখুন প্রতিদিনই একটু একটু করে আপনারা একে অপরের সঙ্গে আরও বেশি কমফর্টেবল হয়ে উঠবেন। পরস্পরকে নতুনভাবে ভালোবাসতে শিখুন। মাঝে মধ্যে ঘুরতে বা লং ড্রাইভে যান, সারপ্রাইজ় দিন, অফিস ফেরত ছোট কোনও উপহার নিয়ে যান। একসঙ্গে কোয়ালিটি টাইম কাটান। অফিসের কাজ বাড়িতে নিয়ে যাবেন না। ওই সময়টুকু একে অপরেকে দিন। ফোন বা সোশ্যাল সাইটে সময় না কাটিয়ে নিজেরা গল্প করুন।

বিয়ের পর শ্বশুরবাড়িতে চেষ্টা করুন স্বাভাবিক থাকতে

নতুন সংসারে আপনিও একজন সদস্য, তাই আপনি যেরকম সেরকম ভাবেই থাকুন। নতুন সংসারে গিয়ে স্বামী, শ্বশুর-শাশুড়ি কিংবা আত্মীয়দের শুরুতেই নিজের করে নিন। তাহলে তারাও আপনাকে আপন করে নিতে পারবে সহজে। শাশুড়িকে সব কাজে সাধ্যমত সাহায্য করুন। শাশুড়ির কাছ থেকে জেনে নিন স্বামী এবং পরিবারের সবাই কী কী খেতে ভালবাসেন। সেই ডিশগুলো হঠাৎ একদিন রান্না করে খাইয়ে সবাইকে সারপ্রাইজ় দিতে পারেন। বিশেষ দিনগুলোতে পরিবারের সদস্যদের জন্য উপহার কিনুন। অফিস থেকে ফিরে কিংবা ডিনার টেবলে সবাই একসঙ্গে কিছুক্ষণ সময় কাটান। সারাদিন কী হল গল্প করুন। এতেই সুন্দর সম্পর্ক বজায় থাকবে।

যোগাযোগ রাখুন

যদি আপনার শ্বশুর-শাশুড়ি বা দেবর-ননদ আপনাদের সাথে না থাকেন, তাহলে নিয়মিত আপনার শ্বশুর-শাশুড়িকে ফোন করুন। তাদের দিন কেমন কেটেছে জিজ্ঞেস করুন, আপনি সারাদিন কী কী করলেন সেগুলো তাদের বলুন। এছাড়া অন্য সদস্য যেমন দেবর-ননদ তাদের সাথে সপ্তাহে অন্তত দু-তিন বার যোগাযোগ করুন। এতে সম্পর্ক ভালো থাকবে। ননদ-ভাবী সম্পর্ক যেন হয় বোনদের মত। কখনও কখনও উইকেন্ড বা হলিডেতে একসঙ্গে বেড়াতে যান, লাঞ্চ বা ডিনার করুন।

বাচ্চাদের সময় দিন

নতুন সংসারে যদি ছোট বাচ্চা থাকে তাহলে সেই বাচ্চাকে নিয়ে সময় কাটান। বড়দের চাইতে বাচ্চাদের সাথে বন্ধুত্ব করা অনেক বেশি সহজ। পড়াশোনা, খাবার তৈরি করে দেয়া, ছবি একেঁ দেয়া, খেলা করা, গল্প বলা সবকিছুতে বাচ্চাদের পাশে থাকুন। এতে করে বাচ্চাদের সাথে আপনার একটা সহজ সম্পর্ক তৈরি হবে, পাশাপাশি বাড়ির বড়রাও আপনার ব্যাপারে ভালো একটা মনোভাব পোষণ করবেন।

স্বামীর প্রশংসা

স্বামীকে ভালোবাসুন, নিজেদের মধ্যে বিশ্বাস, বোঝাপড়া ও সম্মানবোধ তৈরি করুন। পরিবারের সবার সঙ্গে আপনার স্বামী সম্পর্কে প্রশংসা করুন। কখনও স্বামীকে নিয়ে কটু কথা বলবেন না। তার সম্পর্কে শ্বশুর-শাশুড়ির কাছে নেতিবাচক মন্তব্য করবেন না। তাতে আপনার দাম্পত্য সম্পর্ক হবে আরও মধুময়। শুধু স্বামী নয় পরিবারের অন্যান্যদের কাজে ও সাফল্যে প্রশংসা করুন।

বিয়ের পর শাশুড়ির প্রতি কর্তব্য

নিজের শাশুড়িকে আপনার মায়ের মতো দেখবেন সব সময়। তাহলে অনেক সমস্যার সমাধান হয়ে যাবে। আপনার শাশুড়ি যেমন পোশাকে আপনাকে দেখতে চায় তেমন পোশাক পরার চেষ্টা করুন। শাশুড়ির সাথে মন খারাপ করে রাগ করে তার মন পাওয়ার চেষ্টা করতে যাবেন না। তিনি বড় মানুষ এবং গুরুজন। ভুল বোঝাবুঝির অবসান করতে কথা বলুন। রাগ করে বসে থাকবেন না।

স্পষ্টভাষী হোন

স্বতন্ত্র মানুষ হিসেবে আপনার নিজেরও কিছু প্রত্যাশা, ইচ্ছে থাকা স্বাভাবিক। তাই শুরু থেকেই নিজের মনের কথা প্রকাশ করুন। সবার সামনে না হলেও অন্তত আপনার স্বামীকে জানান, আপনি কী করতে চান বা নতুন সংসারে কোন বিষয়টা আপনার পছন্দ নয়। আলোচনা করলে একটা মাঝামাঝি জায়গায় আসতে পারবেন, যেখানে কোনও পক্ষকেই বেশি আপোস করতে হবে না। এছাড়া আড়ালে কিছু বলার চেয়ে সামনাসামনি বলতে পারলে নতুন সংসারে আপনার অস্তিত্ব দৃঢ় হবে।

তুলনা করবেন না

নিজের বাবার বাড়ির সঙ্গে কখনো শ্বশুরবাড়ির কারো তুলনা করবেন না। বড়দের প্রতি শ্রদ্ধাশীল থাকুন। মনে রাখবেন দু’টি পরিবারই তাদের নিজস্ব ধারাতেই চলে। বাবার বাড়িতে যা যা পেতেন শ্বশুরবাড়িতে তা নাও পেতে পারেন।কিছু ব্যাতিক্রম থাকবেই তাই সব ধরনের পরিবেশে নিজেকে মানিয়ে নেয়ার অভ্যাস করুন।

বিয়ের পর আচমকা যেকোনো পরিবর্তনের জন্য তৈরি থাকুন

যে কোনও সম্পর্কেই অপ্রত্যাশিত পরিবর্তন আসতে পারে। হঠাৎ কেউ মারা যেতে পারেন, চাকরিতে সমস্যা হতে পারে, অপরিকল্পিত প্রেগন্যান্সিও আসতে পারে। থমকে যাবেন না, পরিবর্তনের সঙ্গে মানিয়ে নিয়ে জীবনে এগিয়ে যান। তার জন্য নিজেদের ভবিষ্যৎ পরিকল্পনায় কিছু পরিবর্তনও আনতে হতে পারে, স্বামীর সঙ্গে পরামর্শ করে দুজনে মিলে সিদ্ধান্ত নিন।

সর্বোপরি বিয়ের পর  নিজেকে মানিয়ে নেওয়ার সময় দিন

বিয়ে করাটা আপনাদের দু’জনেরই স্বপ্ন ছিল, কিন্তু তাঁর সঙ্গে মানিয়ে নিয়ে বিয়েটা টিকিয়ে রাখাটা এখন কঠিন বাস্তব। তার জন্য নিজেকে সময় দিন। নতুন সংসারে নিজের দায়িত্ব বুঝে নিন, আত্মীয়স্বজনের সঙ্গে সুসম্পর্ক গড়ে তুলুন, নতুন পরিবারের আদবকায়দা, নিয়মকানুনগুলোর সঙ্গে ধাতস্থ হোন।

বিয়ের পরে নতুন সংসারে একটু আধটু অসামঞ্জস্যতা থাকবেই। সেগুলো নেগেটিভ-ভাবে না নিয়ে, বোঝার চেষ্টা করুন। বিয়ের পর প্রথম কয়েকটা মাস আনন্দের, একে অপরকে ভালবাসার। এই সময় আর কখন আবার ফিরে আসবে না। তাই ছোটখাটো বিষয় নিয়ে নিজের মানসিক শান্তি নষ্ট না করে বুদ্ধিমত্তার সাথে এগুলোর মোকাবেলা করুন। ভালো থাকুন, সুন্দর থাকুন। আপনার দাম্পত্য সম্পর্ক হোক মধুর চেয়েও মিষ্টি।
