বিয়ে নিয়ে শুরুতেই আমাদের মাথায় অনেক প্রশ্ন আসে। সেই প্রশ্ন গুলো জেনে এবং সেগুলোর উত্তর জেনে তারপর আমাদের বিয়ের পিড়িতে বসা উচিত। ইসলামে বিয়ে এর বয়স নির্ধারণ করে দেয়া হয় নি। তবে কিছু জিনিস এর ব্যাপারে ইঙ্গিত বা ইশারা করে দেয়া আছে। যেমন, একজন নারী বা পুরুষের কখন বিয়ে করা উচিত, বিয়ে করলে স্ত্রীর খরচ ইত্যাদি কার চালানো উচিত, এইসব ছোট ছোট কিছু বিষয়ের উপর জানার পর বিয়ে করা উচিত।

ইসলামে বিয়ে- পাত্র/পাত্রী নির্বাচন?

পাত্র পাত্রী নির্বাচনের ক্ষেত্রে ইসলামের কোনো বাধা নিষেধ নেই। তবে কিছু বিষয়ের দিকে খেয়াল করতে বলা হয়েছে যেমন পাত্র কেমন হতে হবে, পাত্রী কেমন হতে হবে। পাত্র পাত্রীর বিয়ের জন্য মতামত নেয়া হবে কিনা, তাদের পছন্দের বাইরে বিয়ে দেয়া যাবে কিনা। এসব আরো অনেক বিষয়ের উপর খেয়াল রাখতে হবে

একটি সাধারণ প্রশ্নের মধ্যে এটি অনেক গুরুত্বের যা আমরা অনেকেই খেয়াল রাখি না বা রাখতে পারি না। আর তা হলো, ছেলে – মেয়ে কেমন হলে তাদের মধ্যে বিয়ে দেয়া যেতে পারে। ছেলের ক্ষেত্রে অবশ্যই ছেলের উপার্জনের বিষয়টির দিকে খেয়াল রাখতে হবে এবং ছেলে দ্বীনদ্বার কিনা সেদিকে নজর দিতে হবে। মেয়েদের ক্ষেত্রে অবশ্যই মেয়ে কে দ্বীনদ্বার হওয়ার কথা বলা হয়েছে। এছাড়াও কিছু সাধারণ বিষয় যেমন, ছেলে – মেয়ের বংশ পরিচয়, সামাজিক অবস্থা ইত্যাদি দেখা শুনা করে বিয়ে দেয়া ভালো।

বিয়ের গুরুত্ব, প্রয়োজনীয়তা এবং সামাজিক দিক বিবেচনা করে বিয়ে তে মেয়ে দেখার ক্ষেত্রে কিছু জিনিস অনেক বেশি খেয়াল রাখতে বলা হয়েছে। যার মধ্যে প্রথমেই হলো, যদি বিয়ের জন্য মেয়ে পছন্দ না হয়ে থাকে তাহলে কথা সামনে বাড়ানো উচিত না এবং এতে যেন মেয়ে পক্ষ কোনোভাবেই কষ্ট না পায়। মেয়ে দেখার ক্ষেত্রে, ইসলাম যেহেতু নারীর পর্দা ব্যবস্থা রেখেছে, তাই মেয়ের চেহারা দেখা যাবে, যতটুকু ইসলাম অনুমতি দেয়। তার নামাজ কালাম পর্দা ব্যবহার এইসব জিনিস নিয়ে খোঁজ নেয়া গুরুত্বের। মেয়ে পক্ষের ঘাড়ে কোনো দায়িত্ব চাপিয়ে দেয়া যাবে না যেমন বিয়ের অনুষ্ঠানের সব খরচ মেয়ে পক্ষ দিক এমন করা যাবে না। বিয়েতে উচিত খরচের বিষয় গুলো ছেলে পক্ষের খেয়াল রাখা।

ইসলামে বিয়ে এর বয়স?

ইসলাম ধর্ম বিয়ের জন্য নির্দিষ্ট করে কোনো বয়স নির্ধারণ করে রাখে নি। তবে ছেলের ক্ষেত্রে বলা হয়েছে যেন ছেলে উপার্জনের ক্ষমতার হয়। উপার্জন কখনো কখনো খুব অল্প বয়সের হতে পারে, সে যদি অবুঝ না হয় এবং সংসার এর দায়িত্ব নিতে সক্ষম হয় তাহলে তার বিয়ে দেয়া যাবে।

পাত্র পাত্রী দেখতে গিয়ে কি ধরনের প্রশ্ন করা উচিত?

পাত্র পাত্রী দেখার ক্ষেত্রে পাত্র বা পাত্রী কে আমরা অনেক সময় অনেক প্রশ্নের সম্মুখে ফেলে দেই। যার উত্তর তাদের দেয়ার মতো হয়ে উঠে না। তাই এমন কোনো প্রশ্ন করা উচিত নয় যার উত্তর দিতে পাত্র পাত্রী লজ্জায় পরে যায় অথবা উত্তর দিতে না চায়। পাত্র পাত্রীকে সমীচীন প্রশ্ন করা যেতে পারে। যেমন পাত্র বা পাত্রী কি কি করতে পছন্দ করেন। তাদের ভবিষ্যৎ চিন্তা ভাবনা কেমন হতে পারে। পাত্র পাত্রী নিজেদের কে, একে অপরের জন্য পছন্দ করেছে কিনা। এধরনের অনেক প্রশ্ন করা যেতে পারে যার উত্তর পাত্র পাত্রী নিঃসংকোচে দিয়ে দিতে পারে।

বিয়ের গুরুত্ব অনেক বেশি এবং বিয়ে নিয়ে জানার ও শেষ নেই। বর্তমান সমাজে বিয়ে হবার কয়েক বছর পরে হয়তো তালাক ও হয়ে যাচ্ছে। বিয়ের মতো মধুর সম্পর্ক কে টিকিয়ে রাখতে অবশ্যই আমাদের সঠিক দ্বীনের জ্ঞান রাখা অনেক গুরুত্বের।
