পরকীয়া বা অবৈধ সম্পর্ক- বাঙালির মনে এক আশ্চর্য অনুভূতি জাগানো সম্পর্কের নাম। পরকীয়া শব্দটি শুনলেই মনটা এক অন্যরকম অনুভূতিতে জেগে ওঠে। পরকীয়া সম্পর্ক কিন্তু নতুন কোনো বিষয় নয়! বর্তমান বিশ্বের পাশাপাশি আমাদের দেশেও এখন এর প্রবণতা ব্যাপক হারে বৃদ্ধি পেয়েছে। পরকীয়ার গোপন বাসনা হৃদয়ে পোষণ করে না, এমন মানুষ হয়তো বিরল। কিন্তু কেন এই পরকীয়া সম্পর্ক? কেন এটি গড়ে উঠছে? এটাকে রোধ করার উপায়ই বা কি?

কেন পরকীয়া প্রেম দিন দিন বাড়ছে?

পরকীয়া প্রেম হচ্ছে, বিবাহিত জীবন থাকা স্বত্ত্বেও অন্য কোনো নারী বা পুরুষের সঙ্গে বিবাহবহির্ভূত প্রেম, যৌন সম্পর্ক ও যৌন কর্মকাণ্ড। বেশির ভাগ পরকীয়া সম্পর্ক গড়ে উঠে নারী বা পুরুষের শারীরিক ও মানসিক চাহিদা মেটানোর জন্য। এই পরকীয়ার ছোবলে একটি সুন্দর সংসার তছনছ হয়ে যাচ্ছে নিমষেই, এর ফলাফল, কোন সন্তান হারায় তার প্রিয় মা/বাবাকে, কোন স্বামী হারায় তার স্ত্রীকে এবং কোন মা হারায় তার সন্তানকে নিয়ে স্বপ্ন দেখা একটি পরিবার। আমাদের সমাজ এবং ধর্মেও এই পরকীয়া সম্পর্ককে অবৈধ সম্পর্ক হিসেবে বলা হয়েছে।

পরকীয়ার কারণ কম বয়সে বিয়ে

এটি সাধারণত লাভ ম্যারেজের ক্ষেত্রে হয়ে থাকে।দেখা যায়, পরিবারের মতামতকে উপেক্ষা করে শুধুমাত্র আবেগের বশবর্তী হয়ে অনেক ছেলে-মেয়ে কম বয়সেই বিয়ে করে ফেলে। এই সময়ে ছেলে বা মেয়ের মধ্যে যুক্তির চেয়ে আবেগই বড় হয়ে দেখা দেয়। যার ফলে বিয়ের কিছুদিন পরই স্বামী ও স্ত্রীর মধ্যে বিভিন্ন রকমের মতবিরোধ সৃষ্টি হয় এবং এই সময়েই সেই তারা পরকীয়া প্রেমে জড়িয়ে পড়ে।

বেশিরভাগ মানুষই লাভ ম্যারেজের সম্পর্ক বেশিদিন আঁকড়ে ধরে রাখতে পারে না, খুবই সামান্য বিষয়ে দাম্পত্য কলহ দেখা দিলেই স্বামী-স্ত্রী পরস্পরের প্রতি মনোযোগ বা আকর্ষণ হারিয়ে ফেলে। দাম্পত্য সম্পর্ক সুন্দর না হলে একই ছাদের তলায় থাকলেও একসময় মন হাঁপিয়ে ওঠে যার ফলাফল হয় পরকীয়া।

পরকীয়ার কারণ দৈহিক চাহিদা

বিবাহিত জীবনে শারীরীক চাহিদা প্রধান। শারীরিক সম্পর্ক মানুষের একটি স্বাভাবিক চাহিদা। কিন্তু সবসময় প্রত্যাশা অনুযায়ী সবার শারীরিক সক্ষমতা এক থাকে না। ফলে সেখানে স্বামী-স্ত্রীর যৌন সম্পর্কে অতৃপ্তি থাকে। আবার যদি স্বামী ও স্ত্রী সমবয়সী হয় অথবা স্বামীর থেকে স্ত্রী যদি বয়সে বড় হয় তখনও সমস্যা দেখা দেয়। এ কারণে স্বামী বা স্ত্রী বাইরের অন্য কারো সাথে পরকীয়া তে আসক্ত হয়ে পড়ে।

আদর্শ জীবনসঙ্গী খুঁজতে

সঙ্গীর প্রতি আকর্ষণ হারিয়ে ফেলা

বিয়ের পর প্রত্যেকেই সঙ্গীর কাছ থেকে অনেক কিছু আশা করেন। অনেকেই এমন অনেক আশা নিয়ে বিয়ে করেন যা দাম্পত্য জীবনে পূরণ হয় না। অনেক পুরুষ নিজের জীবনে একজন নারী থাকা সত্ত্বেও অন্য নারীর মধ্যে নতুন স্বাদের সন্ধান করে। তাছাড়া অনেক সময় সঙ্গীর উদাসীনতার কারণে পরকীয়া তে আগ্রহ বাড়ে।

অনেকই আছেন যারা একঘেয়ে জীবন-যাপন করতে পছন্দ করে না। প্রতিদিন একই চেহারা, একই আচরণ দেখে তারা একসময় বিরক্তবোধ করেন, অনেকেই নিজের সঙ্গীর প্রতি আকর্ষণ হারিয়ে ফেলেন। অনেক স্বামীই চাকরিসূত্রে স্ত্রীর থেকে দূরে থাকেন। তখন শুধু যৌনসম্পর্ক নয় বরং তাদের মধ্যে শুধু যোগাযোগটাও ঠিক মত হয়ে ওঠে না। আবার সন্তান হওয়ার পর অনেক মেয়ে মোটা হয়ে যায়। এতে স্ত্রীর প্রতি আগ্রহ কমে যেতে পারে অনেক স্বামীর। সংসার নামক বন্দিজীবনে একটুখানি বৈচিত্র্যের ছোঁয়া পেতে তখনই তারা পরকীয়া এর পথে পা বাড়ান।

পরকীয়া সম্পর্কের পেছনে মানসিক কারণ

প্রিয় মানুষ প্রচণ্ড কষ্ট দিলে মানুষ দিশেহারা হয়ে পড়ে। এই খারাপ অবস্থায় তারা একটা সাহায্যের হাতের সন্ধান করে হয়ে পড়ে। বেশিরভাগ ক্ষেত্রেই এই সাহায্যের হাতটা আসে তৃতীয় পক্ষ থেকে যে কারণে সঙ্গীর অগোচরেই পরকীয়া প্রেমে জড়িয়ে যায় আরেকজন। কখনো দেখা যায় স্বামী বা স্ত্রী রেগে গিয়ে জেদের বশে অথবা শুধু সঙ্গীকে কষ্ট দেওয়ার উদ্দেশ্যে পরকীয়া সম্পর্কে জড়িয়ে পড়ে। মনোবিদরা বলেন, যাদের মধ্যে বাইপোলার মুড ডিজঅর্ডার আছে, তাদের পরকীয়া সম্পর্কে জড়ানোর প্রবণতা সবচেয়ে বেশী দেখা যায় কারণ তারা কোনো কিছুর মধ্যে স্থিরতা খুঁজে পায় না।

পরকীয়ার কারণ দাম্পত্য কলহ

পরকীয়া সম্পর্কের ক্ষেত্রে সংসারে ঝগড়া-বিবাদ অন্যতম। সংসারজীবন সব সময় মধুর হয় না। দাম্পত্য জীবনে ছোট ছোট ভুল বোঝাবুঝি হয়েই থাকে, কিন্তু সেজন্যে ভালোবাসা কমিয়ে দেওয়া বা কেয়ার না করা মোটেও ভাল কথা না। সামান্য ঝগড়া থেকে শুরু করে মাঝে মধ্যে যখন গায়ে হাত তোলার ঘটনা ঘটে তখনই সম্পর্কের অবনতি ঘটে। মানসিক শান্তির জন্য অনেক সময় স্বামী বা স্ত্রী চেষ্টা করেন অন্য পুরুষ বা নারীকে নিজের প্রতি আকর্ষণ করানোর। পরকীয়া প্রেমের সবচেয়ে বড় সুবিধাটা হলো সেখানে কোনো দায় দায়িত্ব থাকে না বা কোনও কমিটমেন্ট করতে হয় না।

যথেষ্ট সময় না দেওয়া

নিজের পরিবারের অর্থনৈতিক চাকা সচল রাখতে পরিবারের একজন বা দুজনেই ছোটাছুটি করেন। দিনশেষে দেখা যায় অর্থনৈতিক চাকা সচল রাখতে গিয়ে নিজেদেরকে সময় দিতে পারেন না তারা। পর্যাপ্ত সময় না পাওয়ায় দাম্পত্য জীবনে অনেক অশান্তি সৃষ্টি হয়। আর আমাদের দেশে তো একটি কথা ব্যাপক ভাবে প্রচলিত আছেই- স্বামী বিদেশে থাকলে স্ত্রীরা পরকিয়া করে। কথাটি পুরোপুরি সত্য না হলেও এটা মানতেই হবে যে, দূরত্ব একটা মজবুত সম্পর্ককে দুর্বল করে দিতে পারে। এই দুর্বলতার সুযোগ নিয়ে অনেক সময় তৃতীয় পক্ষ এসে থাকে। আর অবস্থা বেশি খারাপ দিকে যেতে থাকলে পরকীয়া থেকে মাঝে মাঝে বিচ্ছেদের পথেও মোড় নেয়।

পরকীয়ার কারণ পুরানো অভ্যাস

বিয়ের আগে অনেকর অভ্যেস থাকে একাধিক সম্পর্ক বয়ে চলার। অনেকের মধ্যে এই বদ অভ্যাস বিয়ের পরও থেকে যায়। তখন তারা অভ্যাসবশত বা অনেকে শখ থেকেও পরকীয়া সম্পর্কে জড়ায়। অনেকের মধ্যে শখ থাকে আরেকটা শরীর কেমন সেটা জানার। যেমন- একটি মেয়ের মধ্যে কি এমন আছে যে সে তার পুরুষ সঙ্গী তাকে নিয়ে এত সুখী। এই ধরনের লিপ্সা থেকে পুরুষের মনে আসে অন্যের স্ত্রীর প্রতি, অন্য নারীর প্রতি আসক্তি।

বিয়ে পরবর্তী জটিলতা

অ্যারেঞ্জ ম্যারেজ এ অনেক সময় অভিভাবকরা ভাল-মন্দ কোনো কিছু না দেখে-শুনে তাড়াহুড়ো করেই তাদের সন্তানদের বিয়ে দিয়ে দেন। যার ফলে ভবিষ্যতে তাদের ছেলে-মেয়েদের বিবাহিত জীবন সুখের হয় না। বিয়ের পর একটা সন্তান পরিবারে আসার পর মূলত সন্তানদের দিকেই বেশি গুরুত্ব দেয়া হয়। সন্তানদের নিয়ে অতি ব্যস্ত থাকার কারণে স্বামী-স্ত্রী কেউই একে অপরকে সময় দিতে পারেন না যার কারণে আগের মত সেই ভালবাসা থাকে না। আর তখন মানসিক ভারসাম্য হারিয়ে পরবর্তীতে তারা পরকীয়ার দিকে অগ্রসর হতে থাকে।

কিছু পুরুষ বা নারী তার ক্যারিয়ারে দ্রুত প্রমোশনের জন্য তাদের অফিসের কর্মকর্তাদের সাথে পরকীয়া সম্পর্কে লিপ্ত হন। তারা মনে করেন এতে করে তারা চাকরিতে অনেক সুযোগ সুবিধা পাবেন। কিন্তু এটা সম্পূর্ণই ভুল চিন্তা!

পরকীয়া সম্পর্ক থেকে বেরিয়ে আসার উপায়

অন্যান্য দেশের মত আমাদের দেশেও যেহেতু এই সমস্যা ব্যাপকভাবে বেড়ে গিয়েছে, সুতরাং এগুলো দ্রুত প্রতিকার করতে হবে। একমাত্র কেবল মানুষ নিজেই পারেন এই সমস্যার সমাধান করতে। আবেগ দিয়ে নয়, বরং বিবেক দিয়ে প্রতিটা সিদ্ধান্ত নিতে হবে।

ভেবে চিন্তে সিদ্ধান্ত নিন

পরকীয়া ভেঙে বেরিয়ে আসতে হলে সবার আগে ভেবেচিন্তে সিদ্ধান্ত নিন।  আপনাকে দৃঢ় সিদ্ধান্ত নিতে হবে। যদি সত্যিই সম্পর্ক শেষ করতে চান তাহলে যত তাড়াতাড়ি সম্ভব তা করুন। চাইছেন, অথচ বার বার ফিরে এসে সময় নষ্ট করছেন এমনটা হলে কিন্তু পরিস্থিতি আরও জটিল হবে। দেরি না করে তাই আপনার সিদ্ধান্ত জানিয়ে দিন।

সম্পর্ক ছিন্ন করুন

পরকীয়া সম্পর্ক থেকে বেরিয়ে আসতে চাইলে প্রথমেই সেই পুরুষ বা মহিলার সাথে সমস্ত সম্পর্ক ছিন্ন করুন। যে কোনও সম্পর্ক শেষ করার সবচেয়ে ভালো উপায় হলো সরাসরি কথা বলা। যদি সরাসরি জানাতে না পারেন তাহলে ফোনে বা ম্যাসেজে লিখে বিনীত ভাবে জানান। তাকে বুঝিয়ে বলুন যাতে সে পরে ও আপনার সাথে সম্পর্ক না রাখার চেষ্টা করে। পালিয়ে গিয়ে বা দোষারোপ করে সম্পর্ক শেষ করতে গেলে ফলাফর উল্টো হতে পারে।

পরকীয়া থেকে দূরে থাকতে আলোচনা করুন

কেন পরকীয়া সম্পর্কে জড়িয়েছিলেন আগে সেই কারণটা বোঝার চেষ্টা করুন। এরপর দু’জনে আলোচনার মাধ্যমে ঠান্ডা মাথায় বুদ্ধিমত্তার সঙ্গে সেই বিশেষ সমস্যাটি মিটিয়ে ফেলার চেষ্টা করুন। আপনার আচরণ, কথা সব কিছুতেই যেন ভালোবাসার প্রকাশ ঘটে । কারণ অনেকই আছেন যে মুখে বলে ভালোবাসে কিন্তু কাজের সময় দেখা যায় সঙ্গীর কথার কোন মূল্যায়ন করে না। কাজেই স্ত্রীকে সত্যিকার অর্থে ভালবাসুন। স্ত্রীকে পরকীয়া থেকে বাঁচতে এবং একটি সুন্দর ও সুষ্ঠু দাম্পত্য জীবন এবং শান্তিপূর্ণ সংসার পেতে সঙ্গীর চাহিদার মূল্যায়ন করুন।

সঙ্গীকে নতুনভাবে ভালোবাসুন

নিজেদের মধ্যে কথা বলে সম্পর্ক ঠিক করার চেষ্টা করুন। যেই কারণেই আপনি পরকীয়া তে জড়িয়ে পড়েন না কেন তা শুধরাবার চেষ্টা করুন। সঙ্গীর বিশ্বাস অর্জন করার চেষ্টা করুন। তার জন্য সবসময় সত্য কথা বলুন ও সৎ থাকুন। আপনার স্বামী বা স্ত্রীর আপনার জন্য কী করেছেন ভাবুন। পরিবারে নিজের গুরুত্ব বোঝার চেষ্টা করুন। নতুন দায়িত্ব নিন। এতে আপনাদের সম্পর্ক আবার আগের মত ভালো হয়ে যাবে।

পরকীয়া সম্পর্কের শেষ কথা

স্বামী স্ত্রীর সম্পর্ক প্রেম-ভালোবাসা ও বোঝাপড়ার সম্পর্ক । কাজেই বিয়ের মাধ্যমে বন্ধনে আটকে গেছে বলেই যে ভালোবাসার বন্ধন সবসময় থাকবে এমনটা ভাবা বোকামি । একবার বিয়ে করেই এই সম্পর্ককে শুধু স্রোতের দিকে ছেড়ে দিলেই হবে না বরং একে লালন করতে হবে স্বামী-স্ত্রী দুজনকেই।
